Waterman Building & Remodeling (“we,” “us,” “our”) is a family-owned roofing and exterior contractor based at 238 Centre Street, Middleboro, MA 02346. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect
Information you give us directly. When you request a quote, use our roof visualizer, request an instant estimate, or contact us, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, street address and town, the type of work you’re interested in, and anything you tell us about your project.
Information collected automatically. When you visit our website we automatically receive your IP address, browser type and device information, the pages you view and how long you spend on them, the website or advertisement that referred you, and general location based on IP address.
Information from advertising platforms. When you arrive from an advertisement, we may receive an identifier from that platform indicating which ad you clicked. We use this to understand which advertising produces genuine enquiries.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to respond to your enquiry and provide a quote, schedule and carry out work, communicate with you about your project, send appointment reminders and follow-ups, process payments and financing applications, improve our website and services, measure which advertising is effective, and meet our legal and tax obligations.
Text messages
If you provide your phone number, you agree that we may contact you by text message about your quote and your project. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.
Reply STOP to any message to opt out. We honour opt-outs across all our systems. Reply HELP for assistance, or call us at 508-317-8010.
Some of our text responses are sent by an automated assistant. You can ask to speak with a person at any point and we will connect you with someone from our team.
Automated communications
We use automated tools to respond quickly to enquiries, particularly outside business hours. These tools help us reply faster, but every conversation is reviewed by our team and a person handles anything that needs judgment. You can always request a human at any time.

Hashing means the information is converted into an unreadable string before it is sent.

Request a copy of your information — email or call us and we’ll tell you what we hold.
Request deletion — contact us and we’ll delete what we’re not required to keep. We may need to retain records relating to completed work for warranty, tax and legal reasons.
Correct your information — tell us and we’ll fix it.

How long we keep information
We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to respond and follow up. Records relating to completed work are kept longer, because our roofs carry lifetime warranties and we need those records to honour them.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our services are for homeowners and our website is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Our website links to other sites, including financing partners and manufacturer pages. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies.
